Buckwheat
It is high in fiber, protein, amino acids and flavonoid compounds, especially vitamin P (rutin) which has high antioxidant property to help reduce high cholesterol and blood glucose.
Mix buckwheat with white rice, brown rice or other whole grains and soak for ½ - 1 hour. Then, add adequate water level to cook into porridge or rice.
